Honors Los Olivos women artists. Each gallery
will recognize its own artists with special events, and most
will host open houses. This is an opportunity to meet many of
the artists, while enjoying demonstrations in the galleries representing

The day starts with a silent auction at 10
a.m., with welcoming comments at 10:30 a.m. At 11:00 a.m. Quick
Draw’s brisk creative process begins, in which participating
artists from Los Olivos Galleries are challenged to complete
a drawing, painting or sculpture within 45 minutes! A live auction
of the finished works follows immediately. Afternoon sculpture
demonstrations will be held at JH Gallery 2-5 p.m., with other
afternoon artist demonstrations hosted at other Los Olivos galleries.
The galleries of Los Olivos invite the public
to enjoy this annual opening. Many artists will be on hand to
greet visitors and collectors. Receptions and demonstrations
will be part of the weekend.
This very special event features musical performances
by youth and adult choirs, with a community sing-a-long in the
park. Experience carriage rides, a traditional tree lighting,
roasted walnuts, popcorn, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus
as part of the festivities. Open houses will also take place
at all Los Olivos merchants.
