Welcome to the Judith Hale Gallery Online!

The Judith Hale Gallery was a tradition in downtown Los Olivos, CA, for many years. Located on the corner of Grand Avenue from 1997-2010 it was truly a hub of friendly service, community events, town politics, and the like.

Western and traditional themes of fine art filled the gallery space; and a beautiful garden completed the location. For eight years a second location next door was also part of the gallery. The business had originated in 1987 in a partnership with Judy and her sister, artist Nancy Phelps. After a few years they dissolved the partnership, but Judy continued her pursuits in the art gallery business for over 22 years.

“I previously worked in the grocery business for many years, and enjoyed that as well. It is important to be passionate about your work, to bring to it a desire to satisfy the needs of your customer.”

Today I am affiliated with the Solvang Antique Store in downtown Solvang, CA, where artworks of the same fine artists are on display. Exhibits are rotated often to show new paintings and sculpture. The spring will bring our floral show, followed by other themed openings during the year, and especially the Small Works Show for the holidays.
