Studying
for his work, Voiss has traveled all over the world, journeying to Lippica,
Yugoslavia to study Lippizans and Spain to study and ride Andalusians.
While in Spain, he rode the Spanish Barbs, Fresians, and Spanish Jennets,
and then traveled to Morocco to ride Arabians and to Poland to study and
ride the best Polish Arabs.
His
sculptures, are made of acrylic, stainless steel, bronze or high-polished
bronze, and are intended to be completely realistic. He describes the
creation of a sculpture as a "concert of visual delights that ignites
my brain and excites my imagination".
A
passion shared with his wife, Beverly, he has made it his business to
earn a livelihood using any means to live close to his horses.
Tom
Voiss' art has been shown nationally at top galleries and Caesar's in
Las Vegas and the Francis Hotel. He has been collected by the White
House
and the Sultan of Brunei.
