Grace has a relentless determination to have each new
painting better than the last. She feels that there is nothing stronger
than nature, which influences each plein air image she creates, thus
influencing more refined studio images. Her hope is that the viewer will “feel” the
experience, a feeling of place.
As a member of Oil Painters of America, California Art
Club, American Impressionists, Laguna Plein Air Painters, and the National
Academy of Professional Plein Air Painters, her art career is well rounded.
Recently, her award winning paintings have been exhibited in the Pepper
Tree Art Show, Santa Ynez; Arts For the Parks, Jackson, WY; the National
and Regional Oil Painters of America Shows, The Salmagundi, American
Artists Professional League, Audubon and the National Arts Club at the
Metropolitan Museum of Art in NY. Other museum shows include the Phippen,
the Wickenburg of Arizona and the Springville in Utah.
