A Welcome Prairie Bath

Mr. Riesau's work is in the collections of the Autry Museum of Western Heritage in Los Angeles, California, the Emigrant Museum at the Donner State Park at Truckee, California, and the Carnegie Museum in Oxnard, California. He exhibits at the Autry Museum's "Masters of the American West" and serves as a member of their Advisory Committee. He is a Signature Member and serves as a Board Member of the California Art Club. He has won awards in both painting and sculpture at their annual exhibitions.

Included in his commissioned art is a Peace Officer Monument for the County of Santa Clara, CA, and a Peace Officer Memorial in Santa Ana, CA.

He created five commissioned busts for the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame. Honorees included Sylvester "Pat" Weaver of NBC, Dr. Frank Stanton of CBS, Eric Severied -TV commentator, David Wolper - producer, and Howard Cosell - sportscaster.

In March 2001 a ribbon cutting ceremony was held for Vic's creation of 13 Hall of Fame Busts at the Pasadena City College Athletic Court of Champions. Some of the former students honored included baseball's Jackie Robinson, Darryl Evans, Irv Noren, and Olympic runners Mac Robinson, and Charlie Paddock.
