A diverse professional artist since 1973, Pierce has taught watercolor, while
participating in numerous Western Art shows and exhibitions throughout the United
States. Pierce is entering his 27th consecutive year as a participating artist
in the prestigious C.M. Russell Auction in Great Falls, Montana. His artwork
has been featured in the following formats: The Bradford Exchange Series of collector
plates, a series of Leanin’ Tree cards, The Favell Museum’s Permanent
Art Collection, Ellensburg Art Auction Poster Artist for 1996, Member of the
U.S.M.C. Combat Art collection. Pierce participated in the C.M. Russell Museum’s
1999 “The Cowboy, Today’s Tradition” Exhibition and was commissioned
to paint several murals. Currently Pierce drew on his tour as a U.S. Marine in
Vietnam for a series of paintings, one of which was featured in “Vietnam” magazine.
