Alice
is a popular impressionistic, representational painter known for her floral
and landscape images as well as her figurative subjects. Educated at Cal
State Bakersfield, Cal Poly at San Luis Obispo, CA and the California
Art Institute in Los Angeles, Alice has studied extensively with many
noted painters. She has lectured, taught workshops and demonstrated at
gallery openings and art clubs, participated in Quick Draws, and exhibited
in prestigious exhibits throughout the country. More »

At the
request of the United States Federal Art Program, she has placed documentary
paintings in the permanent educational collections at the Smithsonian
Institute and Pentagon buildings in Washington, D.C. Memberships include
Oil Painters of America, Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles, and B.S.W.C.A.
Illustrators. A recipient of numerous awards, her work is regularly featured
in many prestigious shows and exhibits throughout the United States. Current
awards include the Kern County Arts Council - Two Dimensional Visual Arts,
Honored Artist Of The Year, 2001-2002.
Alice
resides in the Sierra Mountains of California where she continues to share
her first-hand knowledge of ranch life authenticating her depiction of
the West. Her aim is to transmit her love of nature through fresh, bold
color and creative brushwork.
