In 1994, Linda received the Pastel Society
of America's most prestigious scholarship, a full year study at the Art
Students' League of New York. Thereafter, she studied under an extensive
list of America's finest western artists.
She now paints primarily in oils and also pastels, seeking
to reflect the feelings, emotion, and, where relevant, the interactions
of people with animals.
Linda has exhibited in many shows and has been the recipient
of a number of awards. She has collectors around the United States and
in Europe. When asked to describe her artwork, Linda says, "I am a painter
of relationships, of special moments in a life, of the commonality and
preciousness of humankind." Often the clue is in the title.
Some of her exhibitions & honors include:
Best and Brightest Show, Scottsdale Artists’ School,
Scottsdale, AZ 2004
