Jessica Dawn Garrett The youngest of three children, Jessica Garrett was born in San Antonio Texas in 1983. After moving to Nebraska and then Colorado, the family settled in Arizona. Jessica was a precocious youngster and showed an uncanny talent for drawing at an early age. Her other interests were cross-country running, hiking, horse-back riding, and tennis. In 2005 Jessica received a scholarship at the Scottsdale Artists’ School and took a workshop with R.A. Heichberger. This was a turning point in her art career, as she began to pursue the art of landscape painting. She still studies privately under Heichberger and her passion for landscape painting continues to grow. Currently Jessica is a teacher’s aide but looks forward to being a full time artist in the near future. |
