Lathrop Bullene

Lathrop Bullene was born in the beautiful bayou country of Louisiana. After five years in the Marine Corps, he began six years of study in the Arts in such prestigious institutions as Corcoran Galleries in Washington, D.C., the Jepson and Chouinard Institutes in Los Angeles, and the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida, as well as Arizona State University. He now devotes most of his time to working on stone. He prefers alabaster from Utah and marble from Italy and California. His work is some of the finest found anywhere and has been recognized as such by winning many awards and by having articles in Southwest Art and other fine publications.
