Formerly an advertising and editorial illustrator, Irwin Zeller Studied under Frank Reilly and other noted instructors at the Art Students League in New York City. Zeller has utilized his talents in portraits, seascapes and murals in a variety of media. For the past several years he has concentrated on the pastel medium and was invited to be a member of the prestigious Pastel Society of America. His work can be found in galleries and private collections throughout the country. Irwin Zeller’s fascination with the human face is evident in the fresh, lifelike portraits, which have earned him a reputation as one of Southern California’s leading portrait artists.
Sadly, Irwin Zeller passed away on April 21, 2004.
