Set in
the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley on California's Central Coast, both gallery
locations reflect the quaintness and rich history of the town. The north
gallery is a 1930c building which once housed a residence and a grocery
store. The south gallery reflects the former blacksmith shop character
with open beam ceilings and rustic exterior. Featuring representational
and impressionistic styles, the gallery is an eclectic mix of traditional
and western artwork, representing over 100 nationally known California,
western U.S. and European artists.
Committed
to presenting exceptional fine art guaranteed to captivate your senses.
Works of over 75 nationally and regionally recognized painters, sculptors,
and jewelers grace the gallery's historical architecture. Experience
representational and impressionistic styles, of traditional or western
themes.

About
Judith Hale
In
1987 Judith opened a gallery with her sister in Los Olivos. After separating
their business five years later, Judith continued to evolve in the art
scene. Changing from a direction that included festival and trade shows,
and a wholesale operation, she began to focus on developing her stable
of artists. In 1997 she moved to the present location at 2890 Grand
Avenue, and later expanded to the next-door gallery space, developing
the sculpture garden along the way.
Today,
the galleries represent some of the finest local, regional, and nationally
known artists in traditional and western themes reflecting representational
and impressionistic styles.
Judith
coordinates many of the annual art shows in Los Olivos, as well as participating
in benefit events in the community. She serves on the Wildling Art Museum
Board of Directors, the General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC), is past
president of the Los Olivos Business Organization (LOBO). Judith involvement
in the art business follows a long, successful career in the grocery
business, which included management positions, and people skills. Applying
previous career experience, the galleries are constantly changing with
new artwork and displays; after all, Judy adds with a laugh, “Nobody
buys the last chicken!”
